Biography

Tomoko Sato was born in Kurashiki, Okayama, in 1974.  After receiving a master’s degree at Kobe University Graduate School, she began painting as a professional artist in 2000.  Her concept of creation is very simple: just drawing what her eyes catch with oil on the canvas.

Presently her activities expanded to hold solo & group exhibitions in Osaka and Okayama. In 2008 she was chosen to be a recipient of the scholarship of SHUOU Foundation.
